FotoSure, a proprietary test security program developed by the iTEP team, snaps and stores digital photographs of the test-taker throughout the exam period. During the grading process, trained iTEP graders review the photos to ensure that the person who was approved to take the exam completed each section him or herself, without aid or substitution. Along with the test scores, these images can be used by institutions and companies to verify the person who sat for the exam.
As secure as you need.
Since iTEP Business is typically administered by companies on their own computers, it is left to them to make sure the testing environment is secure. When iTEP Business is administered in a Certified iTEP Test Center, the same security measures applied to our academic tests are used. We recommend implementing as many of them as possible on your premises to ensure accurate testing results.
Secure by nature.
Regardless of whither iTEP Business is administered in a test center or on a home or office computer, certain elements of the test make it difficult to be deceptive. For instance, all of the questions are streamed live over the Internet and selected at random from an item bank. This means no two tests are alike, so copying the answers or somehow obtaining them in advance is not possible.
